We offer several different sedation options to our patients to accomodate children with dental anxiety, and special needs. We have created a welcoming, comfortable environment for children. Ensuring that the child has a positive experience with our practice is our top priority. Typically, nitrous oxide, also known as laughing gas, is the chosen mild sedation for patients. Nitrous oxide is preferred for its quick onset, it is easy to control the level of sedation during treatment, and it wears off quickly. Oral sedation is a stronger sedative that we provide, and taken in advance of the appointment. IV sedation is also available when heavier, adjustable sedation is required.
